  • Caged (Talented Saga #2) on March 01, 2013

“Caged” was just as amazing as “Talented.” The story picks up right where “Talented” left off. Donovan might have helped saved Natalia’s life but is there a motive behind his kindness? Who can Natalia really trust? When secrets are revealed Natalia begins to question what Mac is truly capable of, but is Mac the only person she has to worry about? Where does Erik fit into all of this? Will Natalia let Donovan back into her heart and choose him over Erik? Once again lines are drawn and boundaries are crossed; who will be on what side? There will be times when you want to grab Sophie and shake the hell out of her but in the end she comes through. I did expect a little more action in this book but it was still a great read for me. “Caged” is full of twists and turns, drama and betrayal. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to read a good paranormal book. You will definitely love it as much, if not more than the first. I am excited to read “Hunted” to see what else Author Sophie Davis has in store for us. She truly knows how to capture your attention and hold it.
  • Talented (Talented Saga #1) on March 01, 2013

“Talented” is about children born with special talents due to a nuclear spill. Children who possess these special talents are tested to see if they were talented enough to enter McDonough School for the Talented. Talia is a girl who possesses special powers. As a child she watched as her parents were murdered by Ian Crane. Ian is president of the Coalition Force, or rebels as they are known. Mac McDonough president of the school took Talia in as a child and treated her as one of his own. Talia trains to become a Hunter to seek revenge on Ian. Will she be able to stay focused on what needs to be done or will other obstacles get in her way? Donovan is Talia’s boyfriend and betrays her in one of the worst possible ways. His betrayal pushes Talia to seek comfort in someone else. What happens when that comfort comes from someone Donovan hates? The endless cycle of revenge leads to a story full of revenge, suspense, mystery and betrayal. Talia is given the opportunity to get close enough to the person she watched killed your parents. What happens when being told what you need to do isn’t what you want to do? Do you risk everything and is the risk worth taking? “Talented” is a fantastic easy read and definitely leaves you wanting more. I really enjoyed reading this book and I look forward to reading all of the books in the series. This book will definitely hold your attention. The chemistry between the characters was believable and the flow was great. I recommend this book to anyone who loves to read paranormal with romance, mystery, betrayal and suspense. I love how the Author Sophie Davis was able to keep the story serious but at the same time make it funny.

She meets a stranger who seems to make her day and mood worse, but they both wonder what it would be like to bed the other. Will their fantasies come true? • Betrayals of Spring (Forever Fae, #2) on June 26, 2013

"Betrayals of Spring" was a great read. This book is definitely full of surprises and there will be moments where you will say "what in the world" just happened. The sorcerer is still determined to gain powers and he's determined to gain them from Meliantha. The sorcerer plays games in even more sick and twisted ways. He seems to have more alliances now than ever and those allies are close to Meliantha and Kalen; maybe a little too close. He's determined to stop the bond between Meliantha and Kalen no matter what, even if he has to kill Kalen himself to get to Meliantha. At times I found the story a little slow but it does pick up and is worth reading. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to read a romance book filled with supernatural beings.
  • Barbie Girl on Sep. 03, 2013

"Barbie Girl" was an absolutely enjoyable read for me. I loved it so much I finished it in one sitting; it will definitely make you laugh. All Barbie wants is to finish high school so she can take her autistic brother Everett and leave. Barbie's mom is a drunk who spends whatever money she gets on her next high leaving Barbie to fend for herself and her brother. Her teacher tells her that if she doesn't improve her grades in Math she will have to retake the class next year and he recommends she ask Dylan to tutor her. Barbie and Dylan come up with a plan on how she will pay him since she cannot afford to pay him cash. Their plan takes an interesting turn when they both realize that what they want was in front of them the whole time. One tragic night threatens to rip everything away from Barbie, especially the person she loves the most. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series; if it's anything like this book it will be amazing.
  • Xander's Chance (#1, Damian Eternal) on Oct. 03, 2013

Xander's Chance was definitely an amazing read. You will fall in love with the characters in the book especially Xander and Jessi. Xander had a hard childhood, he and his mother was cast out because of what he is. When tragedy strikes Xander is given the choice to live his life as he see fit or take revenge. What happens when someone he trusts tricks him? Jessi is struggling to take care of her cousins Brandon & Ashley. When Ashley ends up in the hospital, Jessi runs into Jonny. Jonny is determined to use Jessi to get what he wants even if he has to threaten her and her famiy. Ashley has to get close to Xander but is Xander what he really seems and is Ashley in over her head. Who can she trust when everyone seems to be testing her? I love the chemistry between Xander and Jessi and their banter will definitely make you laugh. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to read a good paranormal with romance, humor, action, suspense and mystery. However I do recommend this book to 18+. I am really looking forward to reading the next book and future books in the series.
  • Captivated, A Talented Novella (Talented Saga #3.5) on Oct. 27, 2013

“Captivated” is an excellent read and addition to the Talented saga. We get to see exactly how Erik and Talia met and how their first battle went before becoming teammates. This book gives us all of the in between moments that went on between Erik and Talia that we didn’t get in other books. We also get to read what Erik went through after being captured by Mr. McDonough and how he was handled while being held captive. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has read and loved the previous books in the series. I am excited to read the final book in the series. I absolutely love Erik and Talia.
  • Hunted (Talented Saga #3) on Oct. 27, 2013

“Talented” and “Caged” were great books but “Hunted” is definitely a nonstop page turner. I absolutely loved this book and it is the best book in the series thus far; at least for me it is. It picks up right where “Caged” leaves off. Talia is leaving with Mac to help assist with the talent aptitude test. Erik and Cadence would also be there assisting. Talia’s diagnosis is still unknown, the coalition wants her and Mac is determined to keep her safe at all costs. Talia and Erik stumbles upon some information regarding her diagnosis and they need help she just never expected the help to come from one of Erik’s ex but there are bigger threats to worry about. Talia is sent on a mission that hits her hard; not only is her world shattered her heart gets broken all over again. Betrayal is in full swing, secrets are revealed and the life of someone she loves hangs in the balance. Talia needs help getting back someone she loves but in order to get that help she has to go to an unlikely source that has an unexpected surprise within his mist. I look forward to reading the next book in the series and recommend this book to anyone looking for a great series that will have you hooked from beginning to end.
  • Undeniable on Oct. 27, 2013

There's nothing I can say amazing about Undeniable and there's nothing I can say badly about the book. The book was ok for me. It was different from my regular reads and there was a lot of cursing but it is worth a read.
  • Mobster's Girl on Oct. 27, 2013

"Mobster's Girl" was definately a great read. It will keep you hooked to the end. The book starts off great and gets better and more exctiting as you read. Antonio has always wanted Megan, but what happens when you watch everything you want slip away. Antonio lifestyle puts Megan in danger, but what happens when the danger comes from someone closer to home. Will Antonio be able to save Megan when the truth comes out? The chemistry between the characters are great, nothing seems rushed and you watch the characters develop. This book also allows you to see everything from Megan's and Antonio POV. "Mobster's Girl is full of twist, lies and betrayal. It was such an easy read and the flow was great, I read it in one sitting. This book does end with a cliffhanger and you will want to find out how everything turns out. This book is definately worth reading and I look forward to reading the next book in the series
  • Silk on Feb. 17, 2014

"Silk" is an amazing erotic. I was a little disappointed that it ended so soon and I look forward to reading more by C.I Macias. Aiden and Jackson are brothers, Aiden has already seduced Sammie and Jackson has seduced Sammie's friend Jade. When Jackson sees Aiden and Sammie sexual encounter he is determined to have Sammie how Bondage is truly done. Sammie likes Aiden, but can she deny Jackson what he want's. "Silk" was short, hot and sexy and definately worth reading.
  • Jade on Feb. 18, 2014

Jade begins right where Silk ended and let me just say I was laughing as soon as I started reading. Sammie believes Jackson drugged her and Jade is the one to find her but once Jade hears what Jackson has done to Sammie not only does she feel betrayed, she is jealous. Jade decides she wants to do something daring to help her cure the need to have Jackson pleasuring her and her search leads her to a yacht and a woman named Mara. Mara introduces Jade to a lifestyle that not only delivers pleasure but is also pleasing. Let’s just say that is the start of Jades sexual escapades. This book has no shortage of orgasms from both Jade and Sammie so I highly recommend this book to readers who are looking for a short, steamy read. The ending leaves you wanting to know more and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
