In the Middle of Nowhere (Willow's Journey #1) on July 17, 2012

In The Middle of Nowhere was a nice light summer read. I enjoyed Willow and all of the complex emotions she had to deal with as a child who has lost a parent. I related to some of her choices both good and bad and her motives behind them. The only thing I would liked to have seen that I did not was more of the story focusing on the relationship between Willow and Michael. Their story seem like background noise as compared to the rest of what happens in the plot. Their love story is sweet and seems to just be beginning, but I wish their relationship had developed more through out the story. All and all a good read full on angst and emotion but not enough relationship evolution for my taste.
