Dan Colton

Dan Colton is originally from Sheboygan, Wisconsin, where he lived until moving to Madison, Wisconsin to study journalism. After graduating early and being unable to find a job, he spent a summer traveling around Wisconsin on a shoestring budget, working his way from one farm to another. Dan decided during that summer that he would find a way to become a writer, one way or another. After about a year of living back home, writing articles for a small magazine and tutoring at a junior college, Dan saved up enough and relocated to rural Vermont. He now resides in the foothills of the Green Mountains, farms, and works as a staff writer for the Rutland Herald.
