Smashwords Interview

Describe your desk
I like to write on the couch, starting first with pen and notebook. When I start typing the novel I sit at a table, notebook on the left side as I am left-handed.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Waterford, Michigan. The parts of growing up here that influenced my writing stemmed from being around a middle-class neighborhood where hard work and core family values were paramount. Getting a good education was a priority and I was exposed to a great deal of literature and advanced placement classes that broadened my mind.
