The Tradition of Cheating at the Sport of Kings

Glenn Thompson's book is a testament to the heart he has for the well-being of racehorses. In this book, Glenn details the horrendous conditions that some horses are forced to race under (meds, previous injuries, unscrupulous trainers and track executives). His are the stories we need to hear: the truth about what's happening on the backstretch and on the track; the truth about why horses breakdown and jockeys are injured. These are the stories and ideas that could change the racing industry.
Glenn was the trainer for my OTTB, Diamond Clip, now named Darby. Darby was lucky to have had Glenn and owner Karen Spickofsky--since they found him a home after he was injured. Unlike some other trainers who send their horses off to auction or to the meat man. For more info on that related issue, see:
Read Glenn's book. It will change the way you think about racing. Become part of the solution!
