  • Devastation: Built on Fear 1 on March 03, 2012

Title: Devastation (Built On Fear 1) Author: Shandy L. Kurth Released date: December 14th 2011 Page count: 264 Genre: Young Adult, dystopia My rating: 5/5 stars The Review: So recently I was introduced to this genre and have been finding more and more. Some how I managed to never read a book with this dystopia as their main theme. There were many characters and here's something to know don't grow attached to a group very much. Something I figured out also she has no problems killing off characters. She twisted words around so you eventually were trying to figure out who the good guys were, or rather there were any. Now I can't wait to read the second book and will be waiting for it to come! :D This was the first thing that came to my mind. 20% Okay this is what I expected. 50% Oh snap! 80% What the crap? 100% Happy ending.
  • Shadowlove-Stalkers on March 11, 2012

Title: Shadowlove-Stalkers Author: Claudy Conn Released date: June 1, 2011 Page count: 270 Genre: Fiction, Romance, Fantasy, and paranormal. My rating: 4.5/5 stars Publisher:Create Space Summery: My Thoughts: I really wasn't sure what to expect when I was reading this because I won it from another fellow blogger. It took about 20% to fully get into it but the wait was worth it. The Review: The plot takes some time to fully get into because she explains everything over time. It may seem slow at times, but once the story gets going you'll be sucked into it. Shadowlove-Stalkers is mainly going around the vampire and immortals with questions about who they truly are and why. The story had the main conflict that it seemed to stick with normally. It had those small little problems that gave the story feeling. Nothing like a electricity demon thing to only find out some idiot brought his mom back to life. You can see what I thought of him. Some Questions: 1) What do you normally like better vampires or immortals? What are your thoughts when they are combined together. 2) What's your favorite paranormal creature to read about, why?
  • ShadowHeart--Slayer on March 12, 2012

Title: ShadowHeart--Slayer Author: Claudy Conn Released date: August 26, 2011 Page count: 255 Genre: Fiction, Romance, Fantasy, and paranormal. My rating: 5/5 stars Publisher:Create Space My thoughts: First off thanks to Claudy Conn I was able to read this book. Second I absolutely love this cover. It's now in my top ten. Third If you haven't read any of her books this series is a definite to read. Fourth Can't wait for the next book to come. :D The Review: Shadow Heart-Slayer picked up the pace quicker then the first book and that was simply yay. I love how the book is was set up. Nikki slowly gets smarter though out the book and Damon well he's just a big tease. The whole book he taunts her from their dreams too just standing in the room with her. There were two main conflicts throughout the book. First we learn about them and how awful the bad guys are. Then in the last 20% The battles are fought and the problems are solved. Simple and easy fights in a book are my favorite.
  • Spellbound-Legend on March 17, 2012

Title: Spellbound - Legend Author: Claudy Conn Released date:January 1, 2010. Page count: 413 Genre: Fiction, Romance, Fantasy, and paranormal. My rating: 5/5 stars Publisher:Create Space My thoughts: Soooo once again Claudy Conn writes another amazing story full of twists and turns leaving you wondering how it's going to happen, when it's going to happen. There of course is a love triangle who to choose who to be with. Who's better. I'm happy to say she chose the one I thought she would. Feels smart! The Review: So the book starts out slowly then... BAM! You're thrown into the plot and the story sucks you right in. At point all the characters have their wow moments. One has a ever changing moods, nice and charming one second then GRRR rowr the next. The second one thinks he is high and mighty and has the stuck up air around him. Then the third just needed to choose one instead of leading them around.
  • Bewitching the Werewolf on April 03, 2012

I loved this story it ended well although there could have been more story if needed.
  • Shee Willow-Legend on April 06, 2012

My Thoughts: Something I've noticed read Claudy Conn's books are that they slowly get to the plot, but once you get far enough in they are WOW! *Grins* My favorite guy so far in this series finally figured out his problems. :) Breslyn! The Review: So Shayne Bantry has lot's of problems. We just don't get to know them until close to the end. From rather or not he's evil or good, or just lost. We learn he is being a problem, not agreeing with the queen causing problems. Overall I liked him if you can't tell I wrote many lines. Willow is explained pretty easy and quick to understand. Her father is missing and she wants to find him at one point, she meets a mysterious winged fey, and has talking mask problems. Have I suck you in yet? If you love fae books that have some romance in them, then this is a book for you to check out. Would I read the next book? Yup! :)
  • Sweet,Decadent Fire on April 07, 2012

My thoughts: This was the first book I've read by Candice Stauffer and I have to say, Yay to the find. :) Her writing style is fun to read it's light and I like it if you can tell. :) The Review: This story was cute and different. I've read lot's of Paranormal Romance and always enjoy a break from repeated series. Jake Mann and Lee Ann Parker were fun getting to know and easy to like. Normally in romances I like one character more than the other because they're completely different. If you want to read a smoking hot book then this is one for you. >:-) Would I read more? Yesss!
  • Be Careful What You Wish For (Book 2 in The Dream Series) on April 07, 2012

My Thoughts: First of what a way to end a book! Second I can't wait to read more. Third if you haven't read any of these books I highly recommend them. Now I will be waiting for the next book to come out not so patiently. ;D The review: We're introduced to some new character in the book. Sebastian starts out as a nice character who I liked until he started drinking blood from someone and watching another someones baby at night. Super creepiness. We get to see Alexi's family and his reactions, YaY! I liked how the end fight was set up and the twistedness of the fght. I can't believe how I was sucked into this book and again the ending was WOW! Big cliff hanger.
  • Trapped-Legend on May 07, 2012

Title: Trapped (Legend #3) Author: Claudy Conn Page count: 234 Genre: Paranormal romance My rating: 5/5 Publisher: Amazon Published: December 20th, 2011 Summary: BJ is a Fios (Seer) which means she can see the Fae-dark or light, through their Glamour and their invisibility. The war between the two forces of Fae has heated up and BJ is being drawn into the fray. There is a 17th century hunk who wants to help-but he is trapped. There is a murderer helping the Dark Fae who desperately wants BJ dead, and a Prince of Fae--Danté who is on the spot willing to keep her close. BJ has reasons to distrust everyone...and she does My Thoughts These books just keep getting better and better. As more of the series goes by we get introduced to new fae and worster... More worst problems... Yah get what I’m saying I hope. Well I loved the painting problem in the book, that was amazing, and I was not expecting it. :) I love this cover! The Reivew SO once again we’re faced with the love triangle. Who will BJ accept, and truthfully you don’t know for a while. If you like suspense that builds up to a tidal wave of emotions then this is your book. Again with the painting, it was different and you wouldn't expect it unless you were a super genius. He is my favorite character in the series so far, a certain fae character coming close behind him. ;) Now the battle is really coming together. The war is starting. Just thought you’d like to know that, even if you already knew it. Easily entertained, er the fights are well detailed, but not overly done a super long - I can keep up with it. BJ’s relationship with Brian was amazing. It was about the physicalness of a relation, but the mental stability of keeping one alive. Let’s just say if he the murderer (not telling you;} ) was alive in real life, I’d cut him and do what women do best. Yell and attack him like a savage animal.
  • The Druid Series 1: Reapers on May 12, 2012

My Thoughts So this was a freebie on amazon and I decided to pick it up and read it. I was a little wary since the stars were low, but I’m glad I never care about the star ranking. In the end I loved the story beside yelling at their cavemen thoughts. “You women, you stay here.” Yeah if I yell at a book it means I like it. ;) The Review The characters were all different and one seemed to shock me by the end of the story. Who knew he do the some what right thing? Rachel is thrust into a world that she knows nothing about, left trying to get out of the problem. Of course you’ll understand the cavemen comment from above if you read the book. :3 Back to the review. The story plot and problems changed quickly going from one thing to another, never was there a dull moment. The bad guys started as one, then there was another. Lots of dark shady problems from the two groups, and there starts your problem of choosing who you hate more. The kidnapping creeps or the rouges. Love fast paced books, with loads of drama, then this books was made for you. Would I read the next? Yush! In a heartbeat.

  • The Druid Series 2: Bled on May 19, 2012

My Thoughts: From what I got the one side not that bad while the other side cough cough Reapers can go die in a hole. They make me slightly irritated, or maybe a lotttt! Then we get the really creepy twin aspect that comes in and their you’re left wondering about them. Simply amazing. You fall in love with the story from the first page. The characters each have wills of their own ready to make you gasp in shock when they’re hurt, or when they do something you never saw coming. The Review: Once again we are left with a cliffhanger that leaves your mouth gaping open going HOLY CRAP! These characters just don’t have any luck. But anyway we meet Holly and Zach to characters that are easy enough to like. While meeting Zach we learn that bad guys group two are nice and better than group one. (Read my review for book one if you wish to know who the groups are.) Marata Eros has a fun writing style to read. Her books are simply amazing.
  • Free Falling-Legend (book #5 Legend series) on May 23, 2012

My thoughts: Both characters are easy to fall in love with. Z with her easy going noble personality and Dante the prince who has the patience of a saint. I can say these characters were comical to read about at certain points. The story will leave you hair pulling/tugging and nerve wracked by the end. And finally THE battle starts, THE BATTLE! The Review: So we got Z a girl with lots of attitude, add prince Dante and we have a thing called disaster at first site. From the start of the book both characters fight each other in some way (notice I say more than one, eh eh.) Until finally a nice little romance brews between them. For the first time in the series leaves you at a dreaded thing called a cliff hanger. Of course that means we get to read more about Z and Dante. Free Falling never has a dull moment. When things appeared quiet, well they didn’t stay that way for long. We got some lovely descriptions of the battles/fights nice a goo filled. The battle finally starts and that’s all I have to say.

  • The Druid Series 3: Harvest on May 23, 2012

What a ending! It doesn’t leave you wondering like the first two, no cliffhangers here, but a happy ending, or as happy as they could be. I never saw this ending coming, but it was amazing and well s-h-o-c-k-i-n-g! Now enough about the ending. Rachel and Holly just have no luck what so ever. Being led from one kidnapping to another you keep wondering when something good will happen to them. Then we have our knights with issues; far from innocent, far from understanding women. So then we’re introduced to Josiah, Elias, and Andrew. The saviors (?) and killer of the hated leader Alexander. In all chances the girls bad luck strikes again. On the bright side they’re nicer than Alexander. Now you want to know what’s so big about these people? Read the books and figure it out silly! Then with this ending it leaves you wondering what the next book will be about. With no cliffhanger we get left wondering, and hoping. Will we be meeting new characters, or will they be the same ones. Hmmm the possibilities.
  • Aliens Are Real Part 1 on May 25, 2012

Cute, charming, unique, different, so many words can describe this story. When I started reading this story I didn’t know what to think about it because it appeared in a smashwords search, and the cover pulled me in. Plus a summary can only so much about the book. At some points you will be pulling your hair yelling for a couple certain characters to stop being jerks. But that was the character's personality, and she hit them dead on. Jasmines just the daughter of a traveler, rather she likes it or not she has to move. Jasmine is a strong character who will fight for what she believes is right. It might not be something big, but what she wants she will get one way or another. Then we have Yumi the nice one in her group of “friends”. By the end you’ll hopefully love the two or like them at least. Finally we have Honorio, captain anger pants. Give him a chance and he’ll grow on you. Don’t like him? To bad deal with it. ;) If you want a cute sci fi story then this one is for you. It’s pretty clean so young audiences can read it. Now go tonder and read the story then spread its story. Now will I read the next one? Yeah. :)
  • Oh Cherry Ripe on June 28, 2012

My Thoughts: I needed a quick easy read the other night and Oh Cherry Ripe was in my “Need Read” File on the kindle. I’ve been needing to read this for a while, but got distracted like most book reviewers do.... Dang this was awesome! I couldn't put it down and stayed up through the night to finish it. The Review: The characters were amazing and the chance of them meeting like this and falling in love was almost a fairy tale ending and set up. Cherry (Cheryl) was the female character of Oh Cherry Ripe, she disagreed with the way women were viewed in london during this time period. Sky is the man who needed compassion from the starts. Together the two characters create a bang that shake their universe. Aludy Coon threads another love story in ways that make it fun to read. The children were another important factor in all this. Francine and Felix were the wins, the children that made Cherry want to stay. Freddy is the simple character with some baggage and comical tendencies that reminded me of younger James, once he was introduced. Sadly Mary was not in the story, so I will have to imagine what she is like.
  • Myriah Fire on July 08, 2012

Another brilliant romance by Claudy. Everything she write blows me away... Just had to add that. And the cover isn't it just pretty? Myriah is the female main character of this story. She, like other females in the time, puts up with the views of females in this time. Her fiery character was enough to pull me in and her loyal sidekick Tabson made quite a pair. We have Kit. The male character of the story with his dark, or not so dark secret. Together the characters create a drama worth reading. Kit doesn’t quite trust her for most of the book and Myriah just tries to do what’s right. One of the things about reading historical books is the details used for description and placing things. Details like that are good for history nuts and freaks, like I. (Not a complete history buff.) The story is a charming romance that makes you want everything to work out. The surprising ending will not be anything you see coming. Hints although are everywhere, both misleading and guiding. It was a excellent way to add a twist to the story. What I’m saying basically is to go get a copy and check it out. If you’ve read Claudy Conn’s other books then you’ll love this one, and if you haven’t... Go check it out and be pulled into her world of writing. (Brainwashing Complete.)
  • Prince in the Mist on July 21, 2012

My thoughts: The first word I saw when I started to read this was, Breslyn. He has always been a favorite character of mine, so this story was an excellent read. Even the side characters had a deep story that pulled me in. The Review: We have Breslyn the Fae prince, and we get to meet his first human love. Going more into his head we get to see the wickedness of him to. Chartelle is the female, or Breslyn’s female in this story. She’s the human who bring out the other personality in him. Then Claudy was able to have the secondary characters merge and create a story. Alexis and Storm both see each other once and the hidden secrets make them weary of the other. Their story is love at first site. Their fire lit up the book even as they argued with the other, until finally their fire turns into a passion of love. This short romance is a wonderful development of our princes earlier life that we don’t get to know in the longer novels of this series.
  • Exquisite Breath of Darkness on July 27, 2012

My Thoughts: This book... I mean, wow. At some points I was laughing to the point of tears. From the first page/chapter I was pulled in. The start is comical showing us what the two main characters relationship from the start was. Mia and Joseph have to be my favorite characters with the dark Dmitri coming coming close. (Hope I spelled his name right.) This is an excellent book to read. ;) The Review: First off if you loved Sweet, Decadent Fire or Eternal Breath of Darkness then you will love this one even more. Joseph is the the man that needs to be taught a lesson with his facebook hacking skills that we get to see his facebook hacking skills. The jokes would always pop up randomly and it wasn’t too often that it got old. [Just the right amount] We get to see how Mia learns of her true self and how she reacts to Joseph. There really wasn’t one main conflict in this novel, more like multiple small ones. With Eli, Mia’s ‘mate’, crazy vampires, and demons gone mad, we get the experience of WHOOSH IN YOUR FACE. Face paced and plenty of sexy demons, this is a book you need to read if you love this genre.
  • Through Time-Pursuit (Legend spin off, picks up where Legend left off) on Aug. 03, 2012

The review: At points chance would drive me nuts, and Royce and him together would make me insane. They both felt an immediate attraction that us the readers could feel. Of course we get to sit through most of the book with them fighting the attraction. (A roller coaster of emotions.) Claudy Conn also gives us plenty of action through the story. The villain, prince Pestale could also seem charming at some points then he'd do something evil and I'd hate him. (At some point he became my favorite villain out of all of Claudy's books.) Chance believed revenge was was the only thing he wanted throughout most of the book, but we then get to see that behind all the sexiness is a loyal and strong man. We have Aaibhe's and Lord Morgans relationship throughout the book. They seem to have a secret between them that intrigues all the characters. Again Claudy gives us another book that can take away your sleep.
  • Finding Gaia on Sep. 22, 2012

SO first I do have to say Finding Gaia moved at a slow pace as everything was introduced. Until the end it felt very dragged out. BUT WAIT! There is the but to this. It was easy to follow along and see all the little details. Which is normally a good thing in a book. I had trouble finding any feeling for Anna. She starts as a tortured soul which is normally a good thing, but I had trouble finding feelings for her with the first sentence. Understanding the new modern world should have been easier for her to me since she is an immortal and immortal tend to have a easier addaption rate or should. Jason was our male character in Finding Gaia. He was much easier to like and understand. He tries to make up for all the wrong things he has done in life. The side characters. Trish; the comical portion of the books. She was sure to crack a smile in the most intense scenes. Done was Trish's Knight in a Computer. SO very sweet. He showed a charming love that I found adoring. Giving up technology for Trish. The story stays on the main subject, which my wondering unfocused mind loved. You always knew what was going on and hat would maybe happen.
  • Wildfire Kiss on Sep. 28, 2012

from the beginning he held my heart.
  • Runaway Heart on Nov. 12, 2012

Another story by Claudy Conn, so easy to fall in love with. This book review has been a fight for the world, and finally I got it up! Chelsea was so very easy to connect and fall in love with. She has to live with her cruel guardian, (Who is easy to hate.) she's sharp and witty, what else can a heroine need to be amazing? A plot line that can amuse you through the night, a quick read worth picking up. If you want a Regency Historical Romance this is a read to look at.
  • Netherby Halls on Feb. 09, 2013

Again Claudy Conn gives us a tale you can’t not fall in love with. Sassy Winthrop is our main women; of course, she’s lost everything in the last couple years; her mother and father. From there she heads the Netherby Hall after stopping at the location her father wished her to go. We have the Marquis (how fun a word for me to say) who appears to have visions of our dear Sassy. He brings the… amusement to the novel. That’s exactly what was needed. With magic and hallucinations we see a merging of two characters as they fall for each other. And with some dark forces we’re given a mind heaving novel.
  • Through Time--Whiplash Book on July 03, 2013

Once again Claudy Conn gives us a book worth loving. I think next to a certain prince these characters are now in my top five. Not just Trevor or Jazmine, but the little girl they rescue as they fly through time. This little girl has secrets of her own that even she doesn’t know, oh that’s interesting. ;) The characters have their passions that sizzle up the book it leaves me wanting to read the next one quick quick quick.
  • Through Time-Slamming on July 22, 2013

There was sooo, so so much going on in this book. Leading up to the intense ending. Jazz is still coming to terms with her newly acquired fae powers and Trevor, he's just being yummy as always. ;) We finally get to meet Frankie's father, yay, which is a very interesting meeting. And then she has a 'creepy' meeting with a certain dark prince. Dun dun dun! Then Ete gets sick, that will leave you rocking in your seats after reading. Or exploding, ya mind go boom! Well, it leads up to you wanting more. How else could Claudy Conn write us an ending.
