Biography

Bringing Jane Home: Tangling with Mobsters and Pirates on the Amazon River is David Barton’s debut novel. Barton’s passion is traveling around the world with his wife Mary – investigating jungles, deserts and other extreme places, and then writing about them. For the past decade, he has penned articles for outdoor magazines including Florida Sport Fishing and Destination Fish highlighting some of the amazing places they have visited. He lives along the Yahara River in McFarland, Wisconsin, with Mary and his trusted beagle, Ella. His daughter Jane lives not far away.
