Biography
I was born in Hollywood, California in 1951. Being raised in Los Angeles gave me a ‘big city’ view of the world. After high school I joined the U.S. Air Force and spent a year in Vietnam. Then, I spent two years in Germany. I visited Russia, Israel and quite a few countries in Europe.
In 1973, I left the military behind me and enrolled in college in Jerusalem, Israel. The October war of 1973 became the second country I lived in where a war was going on. After a year in Israel, I returned to the states and began the rest of my college education in San Diego, California; earning a B.A. degree in Political Science from San Diego State University.
