David Piper grew up on endless high plains vistas overlaid with right-angle gravel roads. An enormous monopoly hired him to fix residential telephones, where he encountered the full expression of human eccentricities.
After earning a degree in economics at the University of Kansas, David acquired a couple of telecommunications patents. He managed technical teams and created algorithms to keep networks running smoothly and profitably.
When he landed in Texas he found more time to oil paint and emerge as a writer in Austin, where he now lives.
