David is 66 years old and started seriously writing when he retired in 2011 after working in the orthopaedic industry for 32 years. He has lived most of his life close to Newport, South Wales, and has been married to Janet for 44 years. He has a daughter, Emma, and two grandsons, Charlie and Alfie.
