I enjoyed this book, it explores the difficulties a teenager has with the loss of her best friends mother in 9/11 & her brother & his best friend enlistening in the army. She meets a muslim girl at university and the difficulties of acceptance that she experiences. A quick read on a sunny afternoon.
I had not realised before downloading that it was written by a teenager, but I enjoyed it anyway, its certainly not childish.

I enjoyed the book, but I certainly didnt shed a tear, its just a very predictable love story. But thats not to say I didnt like it, but not a great depth to the story at all.

I loved this book, anyone who has been to Disney will see & identify with the characters in this tory. It did have me laugh out loud several times. I had a mental picture of the characters in my head.
I thought the ending was almost a little rushed, but nevertheless, a great read & one I thoroughly enjoyed.

I think I am missing something here, theres no meat on the bones at all, its a very short story & I thought it was awful. She walks out of several homes, is treated like a home help each time with no real details. Meets a guy & lives happily ever after, all in about 6 pages. Sorry, I just cannot recommend this one.

What can I say that has not already been said. I loved this book, I feel like Amy is a friend & the author writes so well, I can visualise the scenes. I too have bought all the other books & am 2/3 of my way through the next book in the series

I have just finished the second book & I just love this series. The relationship between Lizzie & Frank is so close & at last Amy has found some strength.
Onto the next book now, can't wait.
