My childhood in the rocky Mountains, later in the Sierra,consisted of lots of time alone in the wilderness. My adolescent and young adulthood in Berkeley took me into the far reaches of intellect and public policy. Midlife and now growing into my sunset years I live in the Palouse where I write music, study herbs and garden.
