Biography

SNARE, nominated for The Hillerman Sky Award is Deborah’s second book released by Second Wind Publishing. The classical music themed STACCATO is book one of her Deputy Steven Hawk/Inola Walela thriller series. She is a three-time nominee for the Pushcart Prize and the author of numerous award-winning short stories. Deborah spent her summers growing up in the Great Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina which is the setting for her suspense thriller novels and many of her short stories. She is a member of the International Thriller Writers Association (ITW), Mystery Writers of America (SoCal), Treasurer of Desert Sleuths Chapter Sisters in Crime ( SinC AZ ), Sisters in Crime (SinC LA), Moderator of the Scottsdale Arizona Writers Critique Group.
