Blood Moon

"Blood Moon" took me by surprise at the end. I was reading a wonderfully whimsical story about women dancing in the autumn moonlight. The ending caught me by surprise. I don't want to give anything away so I'll end my discussion of the ending.
I could see myself along with these ladies dancing and weaving around themselves in the warm autumn evening. I can see myself lifting my arms in dance.
I enjoyed this short story very much. I would like to see more from Elizabeth Keith. Whenever I finish reading a short story and long to read more...it's a good sign that it has been well written. It leaves my imagination open to wanting more.
Read the story, "Blood Moon" you won't be sorry!

I sat in the warmth of a sun filled room to re-read this small tale of a Grandmother's love. Next time I read this I'll have a cup of tea at my side. I always feel connected to something larger than myself when I read something by Elizabeth Keith.
