Margo DeMello
Biography
Margo DeMello is the Program Director for Human-Animal Studies at the Animals and Society Institute, and President and Executive Director of the House Rabbit Society. She holds a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology and lectures at Central New Mexico Community College. Her books include Bodies of Inscription: A Cultural History of the Modern Tattoo Community, Stories Rabbits Tell, Low-Carb Vegetarian, Why Animals Matter: The Case for Animal Protection, The Encyclopedia of Body Adornment, and Feet and Footwear. She is also the editor of Teaching the Animal.
