Welcome to my Smashwords profile. I have an M.A. in Creative Writing and a B.S in Cardiopulmonary Sciences, two completely different careers that somehow complement each other in my books.
I taught writing at a major Florida university for several years, in addition to working as a Respiratory Therapist. Now I spend my time working as an R.T. and writing fiction, which includes a new mystery series featuring Sheriff Billy Fontaine.

  Many kudos to Mark for sharing his wisdom and knowledge so readily with the writing community. Not only does he instruct and encourage, but his emphasis on quality writing and patience may be just what all writers need to remember.

  This is an engaging story on many levels. The conflict is interesting, the character fairly sympathetic. Somehow the story seems incomplete and could benefit from further development. I did enjoy it.
