  • For The Love Of A Family on Jan. 18, 2014

In "For The Love Of A Family," Erin Miller draws the reader right in with instant action and continues to keep it action packed, so as to hold the readers attention and interest. I have read other literary works by this author as well and she is definitely an incredibly talented writer, who definitely knows how to capture her audience and hold them throughout her work. She should definitely keep writing for years to come. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who loves romantic and action packed literature. The characters are definitely relatable, which is always a bonus in literature. The majority of people like when characters are easy to relate to. This piece of literature also has definitive protagonists and antagonists, which is also a key component in the making of an excellent story. Erin Miller also brings forth the truths as well as the stereotypes about lesbians better than any author I have read literature by thus far. I definitely can't wait to read more of Erin Miller's literary works.
  • The Tides of Change on Jan. 21, 2014

In "The Tides of Change," which is a book of poems by Erin Miller, she covers a wide range of topics including love, depression, accomplishments, and many others. The topics are things that her audience can relate to across a wide span of age groups. You can definitely tell that Miller has an extraordinary passion for writing and that she works really hard at it. I absolutely love her writing and "The Tides of Change" was no exception. I would absolutely recommend that people read this book of poems.
  • Intrigued By First Sight on Jan. 21, 2014

In "Intrigued by First Sight" by Erin Miller, she introduces a major concern that people in the LGBT community face, which is that they worry about the "coming out" process. They also worry about what another person's reaction will be. This is shown in the relationship between Jackie Miller and her parents. It is also a love story between Jackie Miller and Honey Elizabeth. Honey and Jackie also have to deal with Jean's jealousy issue and how they go about dealing with it. The story also has crime, drama, action, etc. This book without a doubt holds the reader's attention from beginning to end and I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I would strongly recommend this book to everyone, not just people in the LGBT community.
