TL;DR: It's a good book if you like male-dom EMC stories and you should buy it. I thought it was quite good, and a very good value for the money. It is exactly the sort of thing that people who like that sort of thing will like. And I mean you. Buy a copy. That being said, if you're particularly interested in law enforcement, you might not like the way FBI agents are portrayed in this book. They're not evil or corrupt, but they're not FBI agents. Now the good stuff: 1) The story was believable and engaging. I thought the main character was easy to identify with for a person who's into male-dominated EMC, which I am. 2) Very good sex scenes. 3) While the power of hypnotism was somewhat overwrought, for obvious reasons, the author obviously has a good grasp of the fundamentals of how it works and why it works and it was smoothly integrated into the story. 4) Generally the book was literately written and pleasurable to read. The story wasn't just segues for sex scenes even though there were plenty of those.
