This book should appeal to a lot of different readers because it crosses genres quite nicely. Its a crossover between a realistic and gritty contemporary romance and a detective mystery. If you love a cynical young woman who solves mystery, and who just might get some romance - this has it all. It's got the young woman stuck in her job - but that job is as a private investigator. It's got some love, danger, murder, and all sorts of neat surprises. I think it was well written and engaging.
