William F. Devine
William F. Devine heads the Corporate & Education Governance practice at William Devine Esquire, a Mountain View, California law firm. He also directs the Institute for Education in the New Economy.
He is the author of Penn State’s Other Cover-up (Smashwords, 2014), Women, Men & Money (Random House, 1998), plus opinion page pieces and articles that appeared in Los Angeles Times, Inside Higher Ed, San Fracisco Chronicle, California Lawyer Magazine, Education Law eJournal, Priorities Magazine, and Social Science Research Network.
Devine has presented seminars across the country on topics ranging from governance, estates and property to negotiation, money and work. He has addressed audiences at Stanford University School of Medicine, Santa Clara University, Commonwealth Club of San Francisco, Santa Clara County Bar Association, and Cisco Systems.
Devine graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy, Dartmouth College, and Boston University School of Law. He is a member of the California Bar Association, and once coached a season of college basketball.
