The first few lines of the book were definitely the most difficult to plough through in the whole book. The introduction of those names that are all almost the same was very jarring to me. But I'd read Dynasty of Ghosts before and liked that one, so I continued reading, and it was well worth it. The characters are strong, and the story is compelling.

This is a very sweet story. I enjoyed it very much. It's a slow story, in a good way. Derzo is an intriguing character.
