Finally got around to reading this book after hearing about it for so long and it did not disappoint even though I read a lot of the stuff on Chris Masterjohn's Daily Lipid site and Stephan Guyenet's Wholehealthsource blog. These PhD's highly regard Colpo's book saying his conclusions from the references he cites actually support his findings instead of researchers who just use references to make it seem like they know what they are talking about. I have a long ways to check all the references in this book (over 1400) There is so much hard to find information in this book, you'll be lucky to have found it. I deduct .5 stars because I think the cholesterol part of the book is strongest while I think some chapters are weaker. Also while Colpo yells at others for not including absolute risk comparisons, he himself most often only includes relative risk figures except for his table summaries of studies that do include the absolute numbers.
