Biography

I’m a writer, specializing in fiction, creative nonfiction, and opinion pieces. I am the Author of one novel, Refuse. It was a finalist in the LGBT Rainbow Awards for the Best Debut Transgender/Bisexual Novel, and a runner-up for Best LGBT Young Adult Novel.

I write for Original Plumbing Magazines website as a guest blogger. My topic is body image and self esteem for trans men. My work has also been featured in several publications, including The New York Times Modern Love essay series in 2011

I am 23 years old. I attended SUNY Purchase, and graduated from Syracuse University with a BA in English 2012.

    Very strange... I loved it. Actually it isn't strange to me- it's very relatable, straight-forward and realistic. Maybe this role-playing is the only way they hope to come close to communicating their pasts--talking about it seemed to change nothing. But there's no connection, and it's hard to know if either even wants connection. It would be too frightening. There is obviously no fulfillment, but it goes on and on anyway. It is very sad. When words evoke my emotions in this way, I believe it's good writing and well worth reading.
