Emileen Church knew she wanted to be a professional writer after she wrote her first story at age eleven. She resides in Lake Oswego, Oregon with her husband (and editor in chief) and her cat (who enjoys sitting on the arm of the chair and watching her type). She is currently working on a collection of short stories, a novella, and two fantasy novels, one of which she hopes to have finished by the end of this year.
