Paul Schwartzmeyer

Biography

Paul is an author and world traveler. He has a degree in Geology and has worked in the oil fields in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and the Al Rub Al Khali.

He was a mamber of several organizations including the American Legion China Post 1 in Bankok, Thailand (Lucy's Tiger Den) and The US Marine Corps. He has traveled (as a tourist and history buff) to 37 countres and 4 continents. Born in ultra ethnic Lackawanna NY, and and avid lover of stories, he's spent countless hours in some of the more snake bitten places on earth, such as the barrio's above Medellin, Colombia the ghetto's of Bangkok, and the slums in Rio de janiero. He is committed to sharing a beer with anybody from Royalty to Riff Raff as long as they have a good story.

He was asked participate in the running of the Eternal Flame for the 1980 Olympics while in the Marines. His second novel, 39 Down, a spy novel, will be ready for release in the spring of 2014.

What's the story behind your latest book?
It's the story of a King who is married in an arranged marriage as a boy. His wife refuses to connsumate the marriae (The reason is the plot of the book) and he travels to another country and starts an illigitinate family. Both nations are over run by war and the families are brought together.
