  • A Lesson in Passion on Aug. 24, 2011

Interesting book, was up till 3am finishing it. Enjoyed the beginning not quite knowing where it would go and shocked at the change but really got into the characters after a while. Didn't enjoy the ending and wanted to know to those left behind. Will invest in the second book to see if it finalises a few details. It was a good read for what it was.

I thought this was a good book, interesting read, laugh out loud
  • Scandalous Virtue on Nov. 12, 2011

Thoroughly enjoyed this book, good characters, good story and nice to read about a marriage instead of just a romance. Will definitely read more books by Brenda Hiatt

Wow I totally got caught up in this book. So enjoyed it, the detail, the characters and it wasn't cliched (even made me cry!) Just downloaded book 2 and can't wait - Highly recommend.
  • Cold Revenge on July 13, 2012

Interesting story and well written, thoroughly enjoyed
  • Shadow of Dawn on Oct. 06, 2012

I really enjoyed both books I've read by Debra Diaz. This was an interesting story with a couple of good twists and turns. Definitely recommend it.
  • Letters from the Vieux Carré (A Time Travel Romance) on Oct. 10, 2012

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, well written and a lovely story
  • The Perfect Gift on Oct. 12, 2012

I didn't enjoy this book. The main character was irritating and self obsessed, the story was full of holes and didn't flow well. I did enjoy that was set in Australia.
  • The Boat Builder's Bed on Oct. 26, 2012

I really enjoyed this book and will read more by this author. Especially enjoyed the New Zealand setting.
  • Lily White on Oct. 28, 2012

I really enjoyed this book, it was funny, it was sad. A couple of little typos but not too distracting - would recommend reading.
  • The Forgotten Life of Emilie on Nov. 18, 2012

This is the second book by Haden Hudson that I've read and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was sad but lovely, great characters I read it in one sitting. Would recommend reading
  • Mine Again on Nov. 26, 2012

I loved this book, Haden Hudson really knows how to about love, and has become one of my favourite authors.
  • Way Out West on Jan. 12, 2013

This book was a lovely surprise, I really enjoyed it
  • Tristan's Loins on Feb. 26, 2013

I enjoyed this book, a couple of minor typos but I got totally sucked into the story
  • Nothing Matters on March 17, 2013

I didnt really enjoy this book and found it slightly frustrating. Two characters have the same name (Julie the sister and Julie the nurse/friend) small typos, repeated conversations etc. The book is a third too long and too repetitive, the characters just go from one disaster to the next.
  • Some Lips Tell Lies on March 20, 2013

An ok book, dialogue seemed forced and didn't flow well. There were annoying typos and characters changing name.
  • Discovering You on May 06, 2013

I agree with a previous comment, there are historical inaccuracies and sometimes the language was too modern and a little wordy but I still enjoyed this book a lot, a lovely romance.
  • Chasing Justice (Book 1) (Piper Anderson Series) on May 27, 2013

Interesting plot, good characters, just a great read and a pleasure not to have any typos! Looking forward to book 2
  • Texas Tides on June 17, 2013

I didn't really enjoy this book, the main character spent a third of it in tears. There were no breaks between changes in scenes which was annoying.
  • Vidal's Honor on Nov. 14, 2013

This was a good story but a little confusing at times. It felt like it should be book 2 of a series.
  • Texas Rose on Nov. 19, 2013

I enjoyed the story but would really recommend more paragraphs especially when there's a change of scene
  • First Class to New York on Dec. 31, 2013

A lovely romance that I really enjoyed, my only complaint is I didn't realise it was only part 1
  • A Place Where I Belong on Feb. 20, 2014

I agree with David Blake's review. The dialogue didn't flow and was repetitive so a little hard to read. Other characters need to be developed more and agree poor Ginny is in hospital and doesn’t even rate a call or visit? A good edit and this would be a good book.
  • Mated & Blooded, A Blood Ties Novel, Book 1 on March 12, 2014

I thought the premise was interesting but annoying typos were quite distracting. I didn't mind the different POV style but agee with Dlh that too many conversations/events were repeated.
  • Glory on April 03, 2014

I don't like leaving bad reviews but did not enjoy this book at all. Massive plot holes, historical inaccuracies, annoying characters who do stupid things and an abrupt end.
  • Diary of a Size 12 on April 07, 2014

As mentioned below, there were many many typos that were very distracting otherwise this would have been a great book. Interesting characters and story line that just needs a good proof reading.
  • Seduction on June 15, 2014

An interesting story that I enjoyed but I wish the author made it obvious at the start that it's part of a series. Cliffhanger ending to this book.
  • 21 Years of Jane on June 20, 2014

I enjoyed this love story. It wasn't what I was expecting but was pleasantly surprised. Definitely have the tissues nearby.
  • Forbidden Love on July 09, 2014

I really didn't enjoy this book, I didn't like either main character but persevered to see how it ended up only to find its part 1 of a 3 book series. Very frustrating!
  • Kelly Hill on Aug. 01, 2014

I couldn't get in to this book and nearly gave up a couple of times but kept going to find out the ending only to find there wasn't one. Not sure if a second book is planned?
  • Drakon on Sep. 12, 2014

This book had good moments but felt like part of a series and therefore confusing at times and fragments of story that didn't flow.
  • Wisps of Cloud on Nov. 04, 2014

I couldn't finish this book. There are annoying typos, the main characters named was Kare for a while! Too much detail about how NZ school system is run. What annoyed me the most was after Chrissy's attack and all these women (the wife, Karla and now Chrissy) letting him get away with attacking women for years. When Chrissy turned to Karla for help she never mentioned the same thing nearly happened to her the year previously. Just couldn't read any more.
  • The Robber Knight on Nov. 13, 2014

It was an ok story but I really hate when you read a book to find out its half a story. How hard is it for the author to include Part One in the blurb or title? Won't be waiting for the sequel to be written.
  • The Titan Drowns on Dec. 03, 2014

I enjoyed this book a lot. I wasn't aware it was part of a series when I downloaded it and even though it mid way through the series it didn't detract from this story. I particularly enjoyed the historical aspects and the romances were well written. Will be reading more in this series soon, thanks for making this book free.
  • Portrait of Conspiracy on Dec. 03, 2014

I enjoyed the story for the most part except for the ending which leaves some unanswered questions and I didn't buy the romance. There were some editing mistakes but these didn't bother me too much.
  • Wolf Medicine on Dec. 18, 2014

What a mix of reviews! I enjoyed this story and thought the ending was in keeping with the book and not your stock standard HEA novel.
