  • Take A Stand on Feb. 21, 2012

Take a Stand is an interesting read about the loss of religious freedom in the US. The story really gets going when an openly gay man is killed by a man who claims he was only doing God’s work by removing evil from the land, supposedly prompted by his pastor and the Bible. Soon after, Bibles are outlawed and only churches approved by the government can meet. The question for the characters in the book is do they take a stand or not. My interest was held to the end as I read this thought-provoking book. Are we in America watching our religious freedom disappear? And are we willing to take a stand? Anyone interested in this issue will be sure to enjoy this book.
