Rachelle Williams has a nice beginning to a longer work in "Letting Go". It could stand some polishing, though. For a narrative so short, it's way too non-linear: there are scene-breaks literally nearly every paragraph or so. In addition, the narrator explains, rather than shows, what is or was happening. Lastly, the use of present tense is pretty jarring. It would read better past tense. But a good story IS brewing here--it's just not done yet.
