Biography

I never find these little 'tell me about yourself' boxes easy to fill out. If pushed I try to base what I say on the facts and the things that have stayed true over time, so here goes...
I'm male and I live in the UK (just outside of London) with my wife Nicki and daughter Eleanor. I have spent most of my working life in and around people as they made career choices and that's where I find myself happiest. I like to think of my day job as helping people to make better career choices (which is nice because one of my hobbies outside of work is trying to make the same good choices for myself). All this trying has helped me to discover my own passion for writing which I have now put into practice with my first book, The Career Explorer's Journal. The CEJ (for short) is now in its second edition and is mainly read by people with choices and decisions to make about work. The aim for this book is to keep developing and improving it in the future (based on readers' feedback). One of my other aims is to write more books, starting with a children's book and/or a novel.
