I loved it! This was the first book of yours that I read, and it was such fun that I had to stalk you - I mean, follow your author profile .. on several sites .. Definitely one I'd recommend to anyone who likes BDSM and Yaoi, and it's imbued with hints of the culture of the world it's set in that makes you want to explore all the others!
  • Swordmaster Dasan Part 2 on Jan. 31, 2014

Ah! Be still my heart! While the original SMD was obviously intended as a one-off short story (as you've mentioned), this one has more detail (though the first isn't lacking in detail where it matters ;) ) and lets you understand the culture of the world Loki and Kyo live in. I was grinning like a moron sitting in the pick-up lane at my daughter's school reading this on my cell phone (bad mommy), and I'm dying - DYING - to read the third installment!
  • The Cat & the Crow on Feb. 11, 2014

This book is a casual, conversational narrative by Tarro, a widower who finds himself taking a handsome, charming, intelligent, swoon-worthy stud of a young man under his wing as he battles the forces of evil (his mother-in-law). Oh, Tarro, you poor broken thing. Sweet, sweet Nerin, you sexy thang you .. coming straight from SMD, this story is quite different but no less compelling. Nerin is seriously just the cutest, sweetest thing ever, and reading the book from Tarro's point of view really helps you to appreciate that. Also, I'm so in love with Tarro's children! I could read a whole book of just Tarro and Nerin playing with the kids, and all the silly shenanigans they get into. Another wonderful read! I'm going on to the holiday special now. Woo!
  • His Nemesis (Flaming Hot Erotic Gay BDSM) on Feb. 13, 2014

    A hot, kinky ride!
  • The Businessman's Tie (The Power to Please, Book 1) on Feb. 13, 2014

After reading this book I am SO ANGRY at the main character! Argh! But the fact that I feel so strongly towards her tells me that it's a well-written book that built it's characters into "real" people with complicated, believable lives. The tone is conversational, easy to read and enjoy, and the author has a good understanding of real BDSM, which isn't always the case when people write stories on the subject! I'd recommend this to anyone who likes a little down and dirty fun.
  • Nor Iron Bars a Cage on Feb. 13, 2014

I cried, not ashamed to admit it. This was an expertly written story that keeps breaking your heart and building it back up. I look forward to discovering more by this talented author!
  • The Sheltering Sky: Flight of Fancy on Feb. 15, 2014

The subject matter was excellent, but I feel that the characters' personalities were inconsistent at times. I feel like the story could really be fleshed out into a fascinating novel or series!
  • Playing with Tigers on March 09, 2014

My only complaint about any of S.Hart's books is that there just aren't enough of them for me to completely submerge myself in them forever. I genuinely enjoy everything I've read from this author (which as of the time of writing this review is everything I can find online), and this series did not disappoint. The author has a great talent at creating interesting, distinctive, and relatable characters that you grow to genuinely care about. The plots are unique, as well .. believe me, as someone who has read a lot of both fantasy/fiction and erotica, I know all the typical storylines. S. Hart has just enough of the familiar to make the stories infinitely satisfying (and I'm not talking about erotic satisfaction, though believe me, that is thoroughly covered.) If Keel can boast a talented tongue (and he can!) his creator must lay claim to infinitely talented fingers.

Hart has just enough of the familiar to make the stories infinitely satisfying (and I'm not talking about erotic satisfaction, though believe me, that is thoroughly covered.) Keel's story is one of the accidental hero, he's not someone who strives for anything beyond happiness for himself and his loved ones, but he is inexorably pulled into the middle of problems that he is uniquely capable of solving. In the process of solving said problems he shtups a bunch of sexy people, yes, but there's so much more to this story than gratuitous amounts of hot, steamy sex. (But there is sex. It's hot, and also steamy.)
  • The Cat & the Crow: A Holiday Spent in Sicero on March 09, 2014

If you liked The Cat & the Crow, you'll love this short. If you haven't read The Cat & the Crow, you should. If you don't want to read The Cat & the Crow, read this anyway for gratuitous sexiness.
  • Swordmaster Dasan - Yunan Holiday on March 09, 2014

If you enjoyed the Swordmaster Dasan books, you'll definitely enjoy this. If you haven't read the Swordmaster Dasan books, but enjoy yaoi, m/m bdsm, giggling and hopping around with giddiness like an otaku fangirl over awkward romance scenes, and aggressive elves, you should give the entire series a shot, including this one!
  • Bound in Stone: Volume One on April 11, 2014

The reason I downloaded this book in the first place is just because it seemed vaguely fantasy-ish, and it was free. I figured, what can I lose? It'll waste time. I really did not anticipate what I was getting myself into. I bought and read the entire series in very short time, and I didn't even want to post a review until I had read all of the books. I LOVE them. So very, very much. This series is so amazingly unique! I have easily read thousands of books, and fantasy/sci-fi have been my favorite genres. After reading so many books you start to anticipate the stories; they're all much the same. Not so with this series! Every twist and turn was a surprise; completely unexpected, but so natural in it's execution. The plot wasn't twisted out of contrary need to seem different, it's just extremely well thought-out and purely creative! And the history! The back-story! The immensity of the effort that must've gone into creating this extremely in-depth world is overwhelming! Honestly, I'm cheap and stingy and I don't usually buy books (with so many free books and the library's resources it's usually not necessary.) But I consider it a privilege to have bought all of the books in this series, it hardly seems like enough to express my gratitude to the author for the time, effort, and consummate skill involved in creating this world that has given me so much enjoyment over the last week or two that I've been reading. DEFINITELY download this book, and form your own opinions, but I'm sure that you'll agree!
  • Bound in Stone: Volume Three on April 11, 2014

The Soulstone Chronicles is so incredibly in-depth, unique, and satisfying that you won't be able to stop thinking about it.
  • The Gryphon Taint: Volume One on April 11, 2014

Herfod is one of the most fascinating "heroes" that I have yet to encounter after reading thousands of sci-fi/fantasy books. All of the people drawn into his story are equally interesting and unique, and it's so much fun to get to know all of them and watch them interact.
  • The Gryphon Taint: Volume Two on April 11, 2014

Hello, friend, it's me again, giving another glowing review. Yes, you'll see me glorify each book in the series because the author is completely worth my fanatic ravings. Read The Soulstone Chronicles!!
  • The Gryphon Taint: Volume Three on April 11, 2014

Ugoth goes to war with the Shadow Master! Dun dun duuuuuuuun! Wait, this sounds familiar .. but don't worry, it's not a rehash of previous books. In fact, you'll be quite surprised by how the war is waged!
  • The Disposition of Ashes: Volume One on April 11, 2014

The Soulstone Chronicles is an amazing series, and I highly recommend it!
  • The Disposition of Ashes: Volume Two on April 11, 2014

I cannot put these books down. My husband has commented that I have my nose to my phone screen every available free moment! I'm trying to get him to read the books, as well, so he knows why I'm so obsessed.
  • The Disposition of Ashes: Volume Three on April 11, 2014

I am always surprised by the events that unfold in this series! The author manages to stray from rote formula that most sci-fi/fantasy books adhere to while still maintaining a very comfortable read.
  • The Redemption of Tehlm Sevet: Volume One on April 11, 2014

If you haven't read all the other books in the Soulstone Chronicles series, you are missing out on a very unique, intense, enjoyable reading experience! I highly recommend them! Tehlm Sevet has easily been my favorite supporting character through this series, even when he's hardly mentioned, so I was really excited at the suggestion that he'd be reincarnated!
  • Bound in Stone: Volume Two on April 11, 2014

If any part of you is uncertain about buying the sequel to Bound in Stone: Volume One, let me assure you that every purchase in this series is completely worth the price. I'm stingy, I don't spend my money without cringing and double-thinking it, but The Soulstone Chronicles is such an amazing series! I plan to re-read all of the books now that I have finished the last book. Be aware, though .. this is not Narnia, these books feature mature content that many mass-produced books you'd find in the bookstore wouldn't dare to discuss!
  • The Redemption of Tehlm Sevet: Volume Two on April 11, 2014

Herfod, Herfod, Herfod .. he's the eye of the storm! But it's impossible not to love him, he doesn't ask for the surrounding chaos, but strives to give those nearest to him a shelter from it.
  • The Redemption of Tehlm Sevet: Volume Three on April 11, 2014

I am heartbroken that this is currently the last book available in this series on Smashwords! The author has suggested more books to come, but I don't see any yet, and I know I'm going to go crazy waiting. I devoured this entire series before I felt up to sharing my reviews, I didn't want to waste a single moment of reading time. So, a note to the author: I love your books! I am overwhelmed by your skill and creativity! Please keep writing The Soulstone Chronicles!
