Biography

Retired and living comfortably in Spokane, Washington with his wife, a cat, two dogs, and says none of them are particularly fond of him. A former Director of Surveillance with over thirty years of casino experience, Forrest is the only surveillance professional willing to take the reader behind the cameras and mirrors to expose the covert world that is The Eye in the Sky.

During those years, he witnessed a myriad of incidents; many humorous, some maddening or saddening, and others shocking, but all entertaining. He decided to share those amazing true stories with you!

Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, the first story I ever wrote was when I was in college in the early seventies. It was about a young Native-American man who moved into a small, rural town and became embroiled in a clash between people living in the town and inhabitants of a nearby Native-American reservation. He was victimized by a ruthless sheriff even though he was not involved in the fracas. Through a series of plot twists, he finally becomes the new sheriff and terrorizes the townsfolk. Sort of an "absolute power" corruption story.
What is your writing process?
I get inspired, I sit down and write. Sometimes I use the keyboard, most often I utilize my Dragon speaking program. Later, I go back and insert the proper words, punctuation, etc. When it hits me, I need to get it down asap before I lose it.
