Johnnie McDonald graduated from McLain High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, received an undergraduate degree from Northeastern University, and an MBA from Okla. City Univ. Following a successful career as a human resources executive in health care, she owned a children's furniture store, and now writes humorous fiction with sister Frankie Carroll. She currently lives in Edgewater, New Jersey.
