The Fallen
on Dec. 03, 2012
Clay A. Kahler's book The Fallen forces the reader to deal with several difficult issues not unfamiliar to those in Christian ministry. Kahler's approach to violence and harsh realities is somewhat sanitized, and the language is rated G even though other writers would have inserted not a few expletives simply for impact. That being as it may be, the story line is solid and compelling. the characters are believable, and the treatment of the story is presented in a sincere and engaging manner. I liked Kahler's bold and honest treatment of issues (not giving them away here) others tend to shy away from or manipulate for their personal agenda. Thank you Clay for writing this and for putting difficult issues into a story that is both gripping and entertaining.
