  • Scent and Shadow: an Aether Vitalis Novel on Nov. 10, 2011

4 out of 5 stars! Dark, exotic, and intriguing are just some of the words I would use to describe this unique take on a paranormal novel. Before I read this book I took what this book was called an 'urban paranormal' as to mean 'paranormal romance,' why I don't really know, but I will say if you make that mistake too you still won't be disappointed! I say that because even though this book does NOT romanticize what a vampire is, it DOES talk about the connections Gabriel (the main vampire in the book) has with those he cares for and digs into what it means to be a vampire (based in the world the author has created). I loved the characters and finding out their back-stories. However, the author bounced around a lot from different characters POVs during the first quarter of the book that it was somewhat hard to find (pinpoint) where the plot was heading. Thankfully though by the middle of the book the plot evens out a bit and you get swept away in the many new twist and turns never quite sure which way the story will lead you. Then the ending just wraps everything up very nicely!! I was very happy about Paul & Cecelia, and I'm curious as to how the new situation between Amanda & Gabriel will work out. I recommend this for those who like reading the darker type of paranormal books. FYI -- sexual content (hot and steamy) is in this book. Review By: From Me to You ... • BECOME (Desolation #1) on Nov. 12, 2011

4.5 out of 5 stars!! This is a wonderful YA novel that takes on the typical theme of angels vs demons (or good vs evil) and turns it into something new, then throws in a girl who's right in the middle of the fight and has the ability to decide which side will win. It's an addicting novel and I can predict it'll be an addicting series too. There were tons of twists that I didn't expect, especially since I never knew where this book would go. Desi is a great character who I'm curious to see how she'll grow within this series. I wish there was more of Michael in this novel, but hopefully there will be more of him in the second novel. The rest of their "gang" I'm curious about since they could really go either way. I recommend this for anyone who really enjoys YA paranormal (possible romance) books!! Review By: From Me to You ... • Claimed on Jan. 23, 2012

3 out of 5 stars. This story puts an interesting twist on what it means to be a werewolf and to be the mate of one. I thought these different aspects of being a werewolf were very clever and makes me wonder what Flint and the other Lokoti Werewolves look like!! Nevertheless, because of the poor reviews on Amazon.com I didn't expect this to be as cute and erotic as I found it! Yes, I agree, with some of the other reviewers on Amazon.com who said that this story doesn't have the best of writing. But in some ways, I just thought it all works! I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a light, fun, paranormal romance! Review By: From Me to You ... Book Reviews (read more of this review and a teaser on my blog)
  • Donovan’s Angel on Jan. 25, 2012

3 out of 5 stars, this story is lively, incredibly sweet, fun, and very heartwarming!! The characters and events that go on within this book are very creative and scandalously delicious!! I never thought a Reverend could heat me up as much as Paul does throughout the pages, while Martie is just a hoot with her "brazen" ideas and colorful attire! I thought they made a wonderful couple! In addition, I thought this story had a wonderful plot that really gave me a perspective I never would have thought to look at before. The only flaw in this story, for me, was that even after Martie and Paul get married they still hold back from each other the passion that is between them because of other people’s views and what they believe is the "right thing to do." I know it would have made for a shorter book but I wish they didn't have to go through all of that. However, I do like how Martie and Paul went about to make their marriage work, as well as, how everything wrapped up in a very surprising panache Martie-like fashion! =0) I recommend this to anyone who enjoys soft romance novels that have a lot of comedy thrown in!! • Valor (A Greystone Novel) on May 24, 2012

5 out of 5 stars!! This series is one I bet you have never read about (or any type like it) before and will keep you just as captivated as I was!!! I LOVE THIS NOVEL!! The plot was awesome, intense, dynamic, funny, and very fast-paced! Also -- I could NOT get enough of the characters!!! About the Characters: • MacKenzie: Human, 16 yrs old. Maybe a witch...? Protective of those she loves. Pretty much lives on her own. Helps out Valor and his family with everything they need. Has a crush on Valor. • Valor: Gargoyle, about 18 yrs old. Meets MacKenzie first and tells her about who and what he and his family are. Instantly and intensely drawn to MacKenzie. Likes to hunt. • Havoc: Gargoyle. Valor's brother. Charming and funny. Loves to cook. • Reason: Gargoyle. Valor's cousin. Victor's brother. Annoys MacKenzie a lot, and never sure if he likes her or not. He's a good guy though. The second oldest of Valor's pack. • Defiance: Gargoyle. Valor's cousin. Likes MacKenzie's friend Whitney. • Dare: Gargoyle. Valor's older brother. Had a bad experience with a harpy a long time ago that changed him and his hair. Likes MacKenzie's friend Mim. • Victor: Gargoyle. Valor's cousin. Reason's brother. The oldest of Valor's pack and therefore he's their leader. Very charming. Known as the "golden one" amongst his pack. I can't wait to see where this series will go next!! To find out if everything is okay with Reason, since he was, suppose to have returned already. Also, to see what happened to Valor's other cousins Chaos, Force, and Trust. If they are all written, like this novel and will keep me up to date with all of the characters ..... then I'll be very happy to read this series!!! I HIGHLY recommend reading this novel and series to anyone who wants to read a paranormal romance that has a very unique plotline!! Review By: From Me to You ... • Face the Music on July 11, 2012

3.5 out of 5 stars, this is a thought provoking take on the reality singing show world that kept my attention wrapped while having me rooting for Allie and Chris the whole way!! I am surprised to say that since Allie mostly annoyed me throughout this novel, because of how she doesn't commit until the last minute. However, I understood that all problems with committing to Chris (or anyone for that matter) because of how badly burned she was and afraid of heartache she is again. As I pushed on, I could feel myself growing to love her close-knit group of friends and family! It turns into a very sweet moving romance story that I could not put down. And I'm sooo happy about whom Jake ends up with since I was hoping that from the beginning!! All in all, I recommend this novel to anyone who likes contemporary romances, especially ones where the main male character in a hot singer!! Review By: From Me to You ... • Cracked on July 28, 2012

3.5 out of 5 stars, this is a very cute novella about finding the right person for you and be willing to do what it takes to keep them. I liked Al and Dailey; they played off each other well. Al's family and Dailey's friends/players really entertained throughout this novella. However, even though this was a novella I think the end of it just wrapped up to quickly for my liking. I just wish for a little bit more. Yet I did like the "epilogue." =0) I recommend this to anyone looking for a fast-paced contemporary romance novella. Review By: From Me to You ... It was cute, I just wish there was more.
  • Runaway Heart on Sep. 25, 2012

4.5 out of 5 stars, follow a wonderful story about how handsome rogue falls in love with "his brat." I loved the plot and all of the major characters (Chelsea, Brett, Sam, & Lady Daisy)!! Chelsea and Brett are so cute together! Plus, I thoroughly enjoyed all of the antics Chelsea led everyone (mostly herself) into!! Her antics were especially funny when she was helping some defenseless creature in one way or another. =0) I recommend this novel to those who love historical romances!! Review By: From Me to You ... • Incubus Hunter on Nov. 19, 2012

3.5 out of 5 stars, this is an intense novella about a woman trying to get her daughter back by any means necessary and a handsome demon caught in the middle of it all. I loved the intensity between Blaze & Carmen; it kept me wanting to turn the page! As well as, the way Blaze goes about his feelings when it comes to Carmen, made it all very exciting! =0) The only thing that threw me for a loop, and something I wasn't too fond of with this novella, was the big twist at the end. It was one of those things that I, kind of, saw coming but was hoping it wouldn't. Yet it makes me even more curious what Ms. Wright has in store for Carmen & Blaze in book 2 and what will happen between them within the rest of the series!! I recommend this novella to anyone who enjoys paranormal romances!! Review By: From Me to You ... Book Reviews (read more of this review and a teaser on my blog)
  • The Arrival on Feb. 18, 2013

4 out of 5 stars! This world-win trilogy beginning keeps you on your toes while emerging you into a culture that is so like our own in many ways yet has a magical and mystical feel to it that delights your senses! I loved how this novel builds you up for what is to come throughout this series. However, it did take me some time to get used to how the author liked to switch her POVs, since it flowed well for everyone but when she was talking from Catherine's (Cat) POV and only because she usually used more "I" sentences with her then anything. For example, (the first two sentences are from Laura's--Loi--POV while the last five sentences are from Cat's POV): Loi could see Kassie was ready to explode. Opening her mouth to tell her to calm down Loi froze when she noticed her clothes, "Guys, where are our costumes?" After an initial panicked thought of `WHAT! I'M NAKED?' I realised I did have clothes on. But they weren't mine. There were sounds of astonishment as we stared at our `new' outfits. It was kind of similar to my costume. ~ within Chapter 3 Nevertheless, all of the characters are great to read about, especially with their diverse personalities! However, if I had to choose I would say my favorite is Kassandra (Kassie) & Rumal! They just seem so cute together! Plus, I LOVED Audrey (Audi) Cat's dog! *hehee* She livened up the novel with her playfulness and antics! I recommend this novel to anyone who likes sci-fi-ish fantasy romances! • Cyber Lover on March 11, 2013

1.5 out of 5 stars. Basically, it was everything I had hoped for a "hot short read," the only problem was it was too short. Meaning as soon as it got good it was over. Yet it definitely had potential. However, the description gives you a completely different ideas as to what/who the cyber lover actually is, what really happens is very unexpected. =0/ I don't recommend it but you may enjoy it if you are a fan of Ms. Lee. • Chasing Sam (Vegas Mates, Book 1) (Novella) on April 18, 2013

4 out of 5 stars!! Can Sam find a way to escape tradition or will she find a loophole that could work in her favor while she looses her heart... I loved this rushed, exciting tale of new love, werewolf politics/traditions, dysfunctional noble families, and sibling loyalty. Sam and Chase were a great match! I am so happy with how everything turned out between them; I can't wait to see where their lives will end up. Nevertheless, my only issue with the novel was that I wanted the ending to wrap up a bit better. Like, what happened after Sam & Chase got out of the woods? Especially since I really want to know how her mother reacted, there is so many unknown issues that this novel touches on but never completes that it makes me curious as to know what the reasons are and I hope that within the next books in this series those reasons will be told. Overall, I recommend this novel and series to anyone who likes paranormal werewolf romances! Review By: From Me to You ... • My Boss's Husband on July 10, 2013

3.5 out of 5 stars. For such a short story it was very lively and HOT, while the end "twist" was pretty mean and funny. I'm glad I pick this one up.
  • Exclusive Interview (Rock Arrangement, #1) (Rock Star Erotic Romance) on July 10, 2013

4 out of 5 stars!! I really liked the buildup in this novel ... from the sexual tension that seems to increase every time Kent and Rebecca are in the same space together to how Rebecca goes about looking for a job or how weird she is about cleaning. All in all, a great short story leads into an intriguing series that will be interesting to see where it'll go .... especially when you take into consideration with how this novella ends! I hope that Kent and Rebecca find a way to get into some kind of relationship together because they seem to play off each other really well. And WOW ... loved the mile-high-club scene!! =0) I recommend this novel and series to anyone looking for hot quick reads that will make you laugh and keep you on your toes! • The Sultan's Bride on July 15, 2013

4 out of 5 stars, a girl finds herself living in a Sultan's palace in a world completely different then the one she grew up in and over the years in living there she makes many friends and a few loves. However, has she already met her true love or is he still in her future? About the Characters: • Catherine: Born in England, only child of loving parents. Goes on a trip to the Middle East with her family when she's eight and by the end she is kidnapped by a Sultan her family met. Becomes a best friend and falls into a childhood love with the Sultan's only son, Arif. On her 18th Birthday the Sultan informs her that she'll become his wife and apart of the harem. She takes it all in stride and becomes one of the Sultan's most precious wives. Takes Arif as a lover even though she's married. When she's about 20-years-old her life changes again by something unexpected and being returned to England where she falls in love again. • Peter: Catherine's father, who loves his wife and daughter more than anything. Wants to provide more for his family then he already is, so he takes a trip to the middle east (with them) to find better things to trade in England. • Sarah: Catherine's mother, who loves her daughter more than anything and appreciates Peter (her husband) for everything he's done for them. Isn't happy about the trip. While on the trip she meets Omar who entices her more then anyone she's ever met. • The Sultan: An arrogant, attractive, charming man (when he wants to be), and manipulative. Liked Catherine when she was a little girl and once she matured, he was intrigued with her enough to marry her. Cared for Catherine in his own way. Has a harem. Doesn't appreciate his Sultana--Irina--anymore. Arif's father. • Irina: The Sultana, the Sultan's first wife. Arif's mother. After Catherine is kidnapped and comes to live with them, she takes her under her wing and protects her as much as she can. • Arif: Spoiled. The never-ending child. Handsome. Believes he loves Catherine, and is going to make her his Sultana one day. • Omar: Works for the Sultan. Falls for Sarah not long after meeting her. Makes a vow to protect Catherine after she is taken back to the palace. Finds a way to get Catherine back to England. • Richard: Meets Catherine once back in England and instantly falls in love with her. • The Runaway Roommate on July 22, 2013

3.5 out of 5 stars! This exciting, hilarious, and sweet novel keeps you on your toes while you follow Casey throughout the antics she gets into! David and Casey were similar in so many ways that it was easy to want to root for them to finally get together. I really liked David and how he handled everything Casey through at him, even though I am curious as to what really happened between him and his own "ex." Plus, I loved his mother and Casey's friends; they were all funny in there own unique ways. It'll be interesting to see what happens to this group next. • Drive Me Crazy on Oct. 12, 2013

5 out of 5 stars!! Follow this sweet and spicy romance between a girl who has been in love with her best friend's older brother for just about all of her life and see if it's truly unrequited love or not. It's hard not to get wrapped up in this love story; the main characters are just that captivating. Plus, the sex scenes were a fun and entertaining inclusions too. Carter & Melanie were one couple that I loved reading about and couldn't get enough of, so I hope they'll be secondary characters in the other books within this series. For the secondary characters in this novel the ones that stood out and all I have to say about them are: * Zoe: Melanie's best friend. Carter's sister. A writer who has a big secret she's keeping about her time in Los Angeles. I can't wait to read her story! * Leah: Carter & Zoe's mother. Very old fashioned and set in her ways. Isn't a fan of Melanie, disapproves of Zoe's friendship with Melanie, and doesn't want Melanie involved with any of her sons. Like's April and wants her to get back together with Carter. * April: Carter's ex-fiancée. She is the quintessential bad girl and trying to win Carter back by any means necessary. Uses her "friendship" with Leah to get on Carter's good-side and/or because she knows Leah will assist her in getting Carter to go back to her. She was the type of character you love to hate, so I don't think I'll be reading her story. All in all, I adored this novel! I recommend it to anyone who likes contemporary romances that have an erotic touch to it. Review By: From Me to You ... Book Reviews (read more of this review and two teasers on my blog)

Stone is a tricky guy who gets energized by Rose's innocent ways while he tries to protect those around him. They were a great match for each other! • Rockstar Daddy #1 Decoy Series on Jan. 27, 2014

2.5 out of 5 stars. The saying goes 'if you love them, set them free.' Well, Kendal does just that to Jax. The only problem is he didn't want to be set free, and when they see each other four years later it'll take everything Jax has to prove to her that she is everything he wants/needs! This clever novel had some twists I didn't see coming. Nevertheless, how much I enjoyed this novel equaled how much this novel annoyed me because of it's editing and some of the characters' antics. In addition, at times it seemed that this novel just didn't flow right, by rushing through some scenes in the beginning and middle then being overly slow at the end, making it very hard to enjoy in that sense. In regards to Kendal & Jax, I like the idea of them as a couple because it's obvious they both care about each other a lot. Yet, they didn't execute their relationship well in this novel. I found Kendal to be a coward in how she handles her reunion with Jax, especially in the way that she allowed the situation to control her instead of stepping up and dealing with everything. In the end, her behavior makes the novel drag out in a way that, even though you feel sympathetic to Kendal's plait, it's hard to enjoy because you keep hoping she would finally fess up to Jax about their son. Overall, because I liked the characters, I would recommend this series to anyone who like rock star contemporary romances! Review By: From Me to You ...
