Brandon's Story - Control Freak: Book 1 (Erotica) on Sep. 29, 2010

I have to say, I'm not really a fan of erotica but I decided to give this one a go since Reena and I talk a lot on Twitter. I was surprised how enjoyable it was for such a short story. Brandon was a well developed character considering the it was only 12 pages long. I also enjoyed the humor. Regina is demanding that Brandon take control in the sex department and be more domineering - totally missing the irony in that. We don't get a lot of Regina's POV and she seemed a little mean to me but then again it's Brandon's side of the story and it's just a snapshot of their lives so it wasn't a problem for me. As for the erotica - I can't judge that since I don't read much but it seemed fairly steamy to me. But again - I was struck by the quality of writing. A lot of short stories have too much crammed into a small space or not enough to pull me in but this had a nice pace to it and ended nicely.
