Snowfall on Christmas Eve is a magical thing. But Jeff Killian doesn’t believe in miracles - and he expects this to be his final Christmas. His only wish is to spend it with his estranged daughter but that would take a Christmas miracle - and the power to believe - and those only exist in TV movies. After years of bad luck can Jeff believe enough to make his final Christmas wish come true?

  • Canceled: The Story of America's Least Wanted on March 29, 2011

Michael Britton goes where few would dare: looking at a possible future of reality television. And with the way reality shows continue to escalate, desperately searching for more and more ratings, constantly pushing for The Next Big Thing, he may not be too far off. CANCELED: THE STORY OF AMERICA’S LEAST WANTED tells the story of Kaylie Adams, an everyday girl who finds herself pregnant and doesn’t know who the father is. She auditions for a new show unsure exactly what it is but knowing it pays - and she needs the money. Then she learns it’s kind of an “Abortion Idol” where she goes through a weekly routine and the viewing audience votes whether she keeps the baby or has the pregnancy terminated. When Jake Granville, one of the show’s execs, learns he’s the father, thing’s really heat up. No matter where you stand on the abortion topic you’ll find yourself engrossed in the lives of Kaylie, Jake, and Kaylie’s family as they struggle and soul-search through this grueling ordeal. Britton does a great job of showing all sides of the issue and ramping up the drama and tension as each of these well-rounded characters struggles to discover their true feelings about the baby and each other. Some friends and siblings bond while others splinter apart under the immense pressure. Britton also keeps a quick pace to the tale that keeps the reader flipping the page to see what happens next. Though the title is CANCELED: THE STORY OF AMERICA’S LEAST WANTED, I have a feeling this book will never be cancelled and America will demand it!

An awesome, thrill-ride, thriller that takes the reader across the world! Michael Britton is a skilled writer that will keep the reader guessing to the very (exciting!) end! Can't wait for the sequel!
