The Girl Across the Water

Another excellent Jodi Kihara novel! Spine-tingling and hard to put down, with a very exciting climax! The main character Paul is totally believable and lovable: while solving a mystery of The Girl who keeps appearing on the island (could she be a ghost??), he struggles to come to terms with sharing his dad with his new step-brother. It's a great novel for children, and it's just a shame that it had to end.
