Biography

I've been a journalist for more than twelve years writing all kinds of stuff. I cover technology and pop culture for a wide range of magazines and newspapers, I've written eight non-fiction books and co-written four more, I've co-written a Radio 2 documentary series and I'm a weekly guest on BBC Radio Scotland. Coffin Dodgers, my first novel, is available now.

I hope the trailer gets two things across: the sense of humour, and the pace. Coffin Dodgers is a funny book, but when things kick off and the bullets start flying it's also a fast-paced thriller. I thought parodying action movie trailers was the best way to get that across.
