Gary Revel

Biography

I was born, in Florala, Alabama, on June 29, 1949. My mother and dad divorced when I was 5. We moved around a lot, and my mother was married, and divorced a couple of more times. I graduated high school in Bonifay, Florida in 1967,

I enlisted in the US Navy and served in the Vietnam War. I received an Honorable Discharge, moved to Hollywood, California.

Below is a few details and facts of my life that is touched on in my book/memoir, TO LIVE OR MAYBE NOT.

Playing poker, with men in a rough and tumble southern juke-joint is not the typical activity of a 10 year old boy, but it was for Gary Revel. Dancing with waitresses, to Rock & Roll, Blues and Country music coming from the jukebox, was also part of his usual child's-play. In High School, he formed his first Rock 'N Roll band and after graduating, joined the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Hollywood California beckoned and he started writing songs and making records first recording in the Capitol Records recording studios at Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street.

Danger, intrigue and murder followed as Gary entered the darkness of the investigation of the Martin Luther King Jr. assassination. His investigation of the killing took him on a journey that would bring him into Brushy Mountain Prison in Petros Tennessee to meet face to face with the convicted killer of Martin Luther King Jr., James Earl Ray. From this came his investigation in which he found that others killed MLK, not James Earl Ray. The story of that investigation has been adapted into a screenplay written by Frank Burmaster and Gary. It is being executive produced by Jeff Olm with Cameron Arnett attached as director.

Notes:

*My investigation of the life/music/career of Michael Jackson has been adapted into a screenplay with co-writers Frank Burmaster and Jordan Tate. Jordan is a French screenwriter and co-wrote Don't Stop Dancing with me and Frank Burmaster is a screenwriter and movie producer. It is in the early stages development with Executive Producer Jeff Olm..

*His MLK assassination investigation led him to investigate the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy and Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy as well. He further found that Oswald and Sirhan were not the real killers of them as well.

Smashwords Interview

Are Lee Harvey Oswald and James Earl Ray guilty?
He is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. I get this question a lot but in fact it should be 'What evidence is there that Oswald killed Kennedy?' Nevertheless I will answer.

1. Nobody saw Lee Harvey Oswald fire the rifle that was allegedly used to kill Kennedy.
2. His fingerprints were not on the rifle.
3. They only found part of his palm print and it was partially covered by the rifle in a way that would indicate it was made as the rifle was being assembled.
4. He was seen on the 2nd floor shortly before and shortly after the shooting.
5. 2 women in the stairwell did not see him at the time he would have had to be to be coming down the stairs from the 6th floor after the shooting.
6. These facts provide an alibi for Lee Harvey Oswald in that he could not have been on the 6th floor as he would have had to be to be the shooter.
7. The bullet that blew JFK's brains out was a fragmentation/explosive bullet. It left as many as 50 fragments in JFK's brain and skull. The 3 shells found on the 6th floor that have been used as evidence against Oswald are not shells of fragmenting or explosive bullets. So... the rifle that Oswald allegedly used to kill Kennedy in fact did not fire the bullet that killed JFK. Here is another reason that (even if Oswald had been on the 6th floor-he wasn't; even if he had fired the rifle-he didn't; still he could not have been the shooter that fired the shot that killed JFK.
Is the fact that Oswald tried to assassinate Major General Edwin Anderson Walker evidence that he killed JFK?
Oswald's attempt on Walker's life was done from about 100 feet away while resting his rifle on a fence and shooting at a sitting still target. Oswald allegedly shot rapid fire from the 6th floor window at over 100 feet to over 200 feet; JFK was a moving target. If Oswald was not proficient enough with his weapon to hit Walker in the sitting still target position it is far less likely that he would've been able to hit JFK-the moving target at all in the more difficult scenario.

These are the kinds of things that would provide 'reasonable doubt' in a trial. This and many other things like this would be good reason for the real killers to make sure he never would go to trial... thus Jack Ruby's killing of Oswald.
