As the co-founders of Global Leadership Foundation, Gayle Hardie and Malcolm Lazenby are passionate about making a positive difference to people’s lives, their businesses and communities – both local and global.
Along with their enthusiasm, Gayle and Malcolm bring over 30
years of experience and recognised expertise in: leadership development and transformation; emotional health and leadership resilience; strategic planning and implementation; organisation and cultural transformation; and board and executive mentoring and coaching.
Gayle and Malcolm’s work on the emotional health levels of
leaders and their ‘translation’ of the Enneagram (the study of nine basic personality types and their interrelationship) into practical and tangible business applications are recognised across the globe as both innovative and groundbreaking.
Gayle has a Bachelor of Science in Human Relations and Organisational Behaviour and a Master of Arts (minor in
Psychology). She has held significant roles in both the public and private sectors focusing on organisation development
and change and strengthening community leadership.
Among other achievements, Gayle is a Fellow and former board
member of Leadership Victoria and is a recipient of the Business
and Professional Women’s Community Leadership Award.
Malcolm has a Bachelor of Education and a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. His skills were strengthened through senior leadership and management roles in the service
sector and significant consulting experience in leadership development, organisational transformation and emotional intelligence.
Malcolm’s work in the application and measurement of
Emotional Intelligence within an Australian business environment is recognised as leading edge and he continues to be approached by researchers (particularly from the USA) to use his evaluation methodology.
