Nabil Freij

Biography

Mr. Freij is the President/CEO of GlobalVision International, Inc. a Translation and Software Localization company that he founded in 1996 to service high tech industries in the areas of Software, Medical Devices, Human Resources, Manufacturing and Engineering. In the past 20 years, GlobalVision serviced one thousand clients, processed ten thousand projects in dozens of languages including all Latin-based, Asian with double-byte requirements such as Japanese and Chinese, Cyrillic, Greek and Middle-Eastern such as Arabic with bidirectional requirements, and turned over tens of millions of dollars in revenues.

Starting his career in hardware design, Freij transitioned to software, then to software localization. He’s worked for 30 years in all three domains. A problem solver and an engineer & entrepreneur at heart, he drew from his technical and business backgrounds to found GlobalVision and build it from the ground up using digital marketing and computer-aided translation techniques. Constantly involved in the most complex software localization projects and software development, he is an expert in Translation Management Systems, Translation Memory tools, and translation & localization processes.

Mr. Freij has formed and managed operations in the U.S.A., Bulgaria, Lebanon and Japan. He has also built partnerships with hundreds of vendors around the world including South America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Mr. Freij is trilingual and holds a BSEE from Northeastern University, an MSEE from Brown University, and an MBA from Bryant University. He has traveled the world and lived in five countries on three continents. He currently lives with his wife in Palmetto, FL.
