Biography
ENKI is a pen name I borrowed from an ancient traveler called "ENKI" (from ancient Sumeria) who disturbs the hallowed "Zombie" guardians of traditional thought holed-up in crumbling ivory towers on a still flat world. I am a fierce graduate of Siena College and live in a series of adjoined squares in upstate New York; a region of Earth drawn and lined-off to fortress the principalities that rule me here. As a young child, I dined on TV shows like Bewitched and reruns of The Twilight Zone, My Favorite Martian, and Lost in Space. I was in grade school when astronaut Neil Armstrong became the first man to step foot on the moon. From that historic day forward (real or hoax), my mind was transfixed on the reason why Earth's single drop of existence floats in a cold, dark, alive sea called the Cosmos. When I am not reading things that let me know what planet I "REALLY" live on or working on the sequel to GOD'S GIRLFRIEND, I am dreaming of riding my bicycle from New York to California again and feeling how miniscule my existence really is, as I traverse horizon after horizon in an enchanted experiment called Earth.
