Subsequently he authored several high end guest houses.

He is a self-published author and editor. His book, FOUR MINUTES PAST MIDNIGHT, about his personal paranormal experiences, is available via Smashwords and the Amazon Kindle bookshelf ( http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005MZISAM ).

His works are published under the banner of "Good Hope Publishing", Bruce's private digital publishing label. The name is derived from the place of his birth, known in history as "The Cape of Good Hope".

In addition, Bruce performs as a professional children’s magician in the greater metropolitan area of Cape Town. His popularity as FOO LING YU (From Tung-in-cheek, China) continues to grow.
