This is a book you want to read in one sitting ... witty personalized anecdotes of the surprises one encounters in raising young children ... the stories are varied in theme, but the writing remains consistent throughout, giving a good sense of the flavour of the author's writing style. Well done.

Amusing personal glances into the past, these tales are written in a witty yet poignant style, easy to identify with the characters and antics the author remembers. Consistent style throughout, the writing flows well and reads easily.

Another gripping portrayal by the author, of an experience which most women (myself included) are lucky enough never to have to endure. We can scarcely imagine what it must feel like to be robbed of the chance of motherhood, repeatedly, and this story gives us clear insight into the pain of such loss. But on the flip side, it also depicts the optimistic tenacity of the human spirit, to 'try again'.
