  • Forgiveness Formula: Finding Lasting Freedom in Christ on Feb. 21, 2013

Forgiveness Formula C.J. and Shelley Hitz teaches you how to use God’s Math for true forgiveness of others and yourself. The Bible is full of underlying meanings and many times it is hard to understand how the verses and their meanings apply to our lives. Wonder no more. This book will help you to understand about forgiveness through use of real life examples, relational Bible verses and plain but detailed and easy to understand explanations of what those verses mean and how they apply to you and your life. After reading this book, I came away with an understanding of forgiveness that I have never had. Thank you Shelly and CJ for writing this book and writing it in such a way that gave me several of those “light bulb” moments. • Seriously Mum, What's an Alpaca? on March 08, 2013

Seriously Mum, What's an Alpaca? by Alan Parks is the true story of Alan and his family’s adventures moving from England to Spain and getting started raising Alpacas. You know, when the feral cat writes the introduction to a story, you are in for a treat. In fact many of the animals speak throughout the book. I found this an enjoyable look from another prospective. Life changes are never easy, the unknown can be challenging and this change would prove to be no exception. The author weaves you through the ups and downs, the joys and sorrows that change can make. Along the way they meet many characters – some colorful, some unsavory. They end up with a host of animals that now call their farm home, including those adorable Alpacas. If you love animals and real life adventure, you will enjoy Seriously Mum, What's an Alpaca? • The MacLosers on March 19, 2013

Ever met someone that seems like Murphy’s Law follows them everywhere they go? Well get ready to meet a family that Murphy follows. The MacLosers by Paul Moxham is based on a true story. Robert Diobair, an architect that is out of work when he and his family inherit a Scottish Village. Thinking this will solve all his problems, off to Scotland they go, and Murphy follows them. This story is hilarious as so many things go wrong for the family. But unbeknown to them, part of it is sabotage. Someone wants their property and will do anything to get it. If you are ready for a good laugh and love to see the underdog win, here’s a book that gives you both. I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Are you a soup lover? Are you tired of the same old vegetable soup or chicken noodle? If you are, you have found the right book….. ……that will have your taste buds singing with delight. Learn how to make the basis of all the soups – the stock – first. From those humble starts, this book will show you how to make some tasty delights. Yes, “A Gluten Free Soup Opera” by Sibel Hodge does mean that these recipes are gluten free, but it does not mean they lack taste. Using her Mediterranean background, Sibel shows how to make an enticing soup using ingredients that most people have on hand. From simple Onion soup to the hearty Beef, Mushroom and Asparagus soup, there should be something for everyone’s taste. An added bonus is that all the soups are made with wholesome ingredients, so along with tasting good, they are also healthy for you. Personally, I will be trying the hearty Lamb and Green Bean soup as I love both the ingredients. I did receive a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
