The Accidental Immortal

A fabulous read! I highly recommend it if you enjoy sparse narrative. I truly felt maddie's struggle with immortal life - how she felt abandoned. Very inspiring. I want to read more by this author!

Without giving too much away, I gotta point out this book is *not* so much about vampires. I think the vampires are secondary to the main plot. This is a horrifying story - it scared the *expletive* outta me. I would definitely say this is horror, but psychological horror. 5 stars!

The poetry in this collection was moving and beautiful. Some of it had a bit more "grit" than others. Loved it! The short stories were undoubtedly cool. Love this writer's work.
The Silent Princess

A whimiscal read, engaging from the start. "Princess" develops greatly as the main character in such a short span of time. This story definitely makes me think of cultural class division and what it takes to be a great leader. Political undertones are found in this story and I truly found them remarkable.
