This book easily brings to life so many horrors that surround us. Child predators, prison rape, destroyed families, and more. This book was riveting and hard to put down, but also horrifying. I had to keep reading to see what was next!.

This book has that haunted house feel. The story behind it is fascinating and the fact that its actual history makes me wonder why a movie has not been done about it. As for the fictional story of Dr. Anderson and his investigators, when someone tells you not to enter a place, you should listen to them. The house attacks them on every level possible from the first moment they step foot on the property. The book twist and twists until you realize, there's no escape from Reindeer Manor. These ghosts will tear you apart, from the inside out. I also love that it’s part of a series. I hope the rest are as good as first one. Also, one thing I love, is now I can go to the real Reindeer Manor when it opened in October, of course I live the Dallas area, but still! How many books can you read, then go to the actual place?!
