Sandra McDonald


Biography

Sandra McDonald is a Navy veteran, college instructor and former Hollywood assistant. Her sf novels -- The Outback Stars, The Stars Down Under and The Stars Blue Yonder -- are about love, duty and really big spaceships. She also writes adventure books set in the Florida Keys for gay and straight teens.

Her short fiction has appeared in dozens of national, small press and online magazines. Her recent collection "Diana Comet and other Improbable Stories" won the Lambda Literary Award for science fiction/fantasy, was a Booklist Edtior's Choice, and is an American Library Association "Over the Rainbow" noted book.
