Biography

I HAVE TWO NEW BOOKS OUT!
A Corpse for the Matadora & Holy Mole Murder (see below)

If you’re a fan of village mysteries you’ll enjoy my series set in central Mexico with American anthropologist Anna Merino. If quirky characters and off-beat stories (set in Hollywood, where else?) suit your fancy, you’ll soon become a fan of Private Investigator Polly Isabel Berger, a P.I. by name as well as by trade.

I’ve been writing fiction for the past five years, completing five novels and over thirty short stories. My most recent novel (written under a different pen name) was a finalist in the Don Knotts Silver Bullet Award contest this past summer.

Two of my humorous (non-mystery) short stories came out last year: Growing Up With Pigs in Southern Women’s Review (http://www.southernwomensreview.com/issue_010110.pdf), and Our New Thing, in the Oct. 1 issue of The Cynic Online Magazine (http://www.cynicmag.com/feature.aspx?articleid=3580).

I grew up in upstate New York, but now live in Greensboro, North Carolina with my husband and four cats.
