Yes, I was the girl who didn’t learn her lesson unless it was bared through the pains of my own mistakes. You stood a better chance at getting through airport security with a bomb strapped to your chest, then reaching me with your words and wisdom. If you had been there, done that, it was all the more reason for me to get there and do it. The rebellious flaws that served as a permanent punishment through most of my adolescence, shined and polished up a thick coating on my armor. When I charged the battlefield, I was far from rusty with life experiences. I came, I saw…and all be damned if I didn’t conquer!
